The Prophet in the Theater
Krystian Lupa is considered today “the patriarch of Polish theater” who influenced all the new voices of contemporary Polish theater. In April 2009 he received in Wroclaw the Europe Theatre Prize, the highest possible in this art. On that occasion he presented his most recent show, Factory 2, dedicated to Andy Warhol, a performance that evinces a radical change in his style, proving that an artist is capable of reinventing himself at any age.
