The National Theatre Festival discovers new areas for the festive circuit. And not only that. One of them, the Epika Hall of the Grand Cinema & More- Băneasa Shopping City shall host, for the first time, actor Ion Caramitru’s exceptional recital.
“Words, words, words…” is a show of poetry and music, a confession-show created around the poetry of Nichita Stănescu and of the friendship which they shared for years. Each performance of this show was an emotional encounter with the public, actor Ion Caramitru always coming up with new ways to surprise his audience.
In this poetical trek, Ion Caramitru is joined by cello player Adrian Naidin, a sound name in his generation of musicians. The dramatic vibrato of his cello makes this wondrous story be about sound and word alike.
The show “Words, words, words…” will be performed as part of the NTF on Tuesday, the 28th of October, at 8:00 PM, at the Epika Hall of the Grand Cinema& More- Băneasa Shopping City. It will be followed shortly by the grand opening of an ample multimedia exhibition meant to mark 20 years since the departure of the great George Constantin, “Peerless Professor glory unto you!” / open to the audience until the 2nd of November, on the last day of the National Theatre Festival.
