Thus, an alternative history, one overlooked by the official discourse, is restored before us. The performance brings to the foreground the stories of Ionela’s generation, stories of work, social and personal life. From a society that more and more neglects and disregards seniors, you can hear the voices of people who live with hope for more future solidarity.
“Ballads of Memory” documents, archives and plays back all these narratives, following the way in which they were influenced by the hard years of transition and capitalism.
