Maria Bălan is a graphic artist based in Bucharest. She studied Graphic Arts at the National University of Arts, Bucharest, and Architecture at “Ion Mincu” University of Architecture and Urbanism. She is a member of UAP – the Plastic Artists Union – and of the Illustrators Club of Romania. She is involved in various book projects, street art, interventions in public space both in Romania and abroad.
