With the structure of three chapters, the volume covers the dynamic of public and non-public cultural consumption, as well as the connection between cultural participation and democratic citizenship.<\/p>\n The main results are confirming tendencies identified during the pandemic, as well as a dominating orientation of cultural consumption towards online platforms and non-public spaces. This analysis shows that the consumption gap between different scoial and demographic categories remains stable, with a lower participation tendency in the case of women, elders, people from rural areas and people with a lower level of education or income (below the national average). Aside from the pandemic context, the registered drop in cultural consumption within the public space can be explained through the emphasis of cultural consumption barriers, manifesting for all consumer categories.<\/p>\n Therefore, The Cultural Consumption Barometer 2022\u00a0<\/strong>is highlighting the necessity of implementing education through culture initiatives, as well as highlighting the utility of coming up with measures that closely follow a model of community developments through culture.<\/p>\n Following the release event, The Cultural Consumption Barometer 2022\u00a0<\/strong>will become digitally available on the website: www.culturadata.ro<\/a>.<\/p>\n The Cultural Consumption Barometer 2022 study is based on an opinion poll carried out by the operator of the Romanian Institute for Evaluation and Strategy (IRES), taken between September and October 2022, on a nationally representative sample of the population aged 18 and over. The approximate sample size is 1035 people, with a maximum margin of error of +\/-3.1% at the 95% confidence level. The application of the questionnaires was carried out by the CATI method, on a simple, random sample, by generating phone numbers with a valid format on the territory of Romania, by the RDD (Random Digit Dialing) method.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>![\"\"](\"https:\/\/fnt.ro\/2023\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/barometru-de-consum-cultural.jpg\")

Cultural participation and democratic perspectives during NTF 2023. Counting 18 editions, the largest study on a national level, that measures the habits of culture consumers, is back after a three year’s break due to the social and economic effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.<\/h3>\n<\/div>
