In a parallel universe, everything is perfect and things happen exactly as they should. In this universe, a child runs after a dog and then they go back inside to play in the living room.
In another universe, a collective butterfly effect unfolds: someone forgets to close a door, someone answers the phone, someone is in a rush and in just a fraction of a second, no one anticipates what’s about to happen… and the dog comes back alone. An accident occurs —an absurd accident— for which everyone and at the same time no one is to blame. The healing process is difficult, taking place on both personal and interpersonal levels.
“Rabbit Hole” is a deeply emotional psychological drama, cleverly centered on themes of loss and the survival mechanisms people adopt in the slow journey of healing. It’s a heartfelt story about acceptance, resilience and transformation.
