The name Ion Creangă is synonymous with childhood. He is the first Romanian author to capture the universal ideas of childhood, the desire for exploration and knowledge, the importance of friendship, the power of imagination, tenacity, but also fragility, strong emotions or very intense experiences.
Our theater strides to embody all these values, that’s why we carry the author’s name. Each of our initiatives revolve around the ideal of childhood. Through everything we do, we want to help children discover the world around them, but also the world that lies beyond the gates of imagination.
Childhood memories invites the little ones to experience a different kind of childhood alongside Nică. From the very beginning, we will witness the protagonist’s mischief, we are faced with an eminent student who focuses his attention equally on his school duties and on his little escapades.
