Furniture and Pain is a comedy written by the Romanian playwright Teodor Mazilu, author of plays and television sketches, and directed by Cristian Ban. The show tackles the topical subject of people who get rich overnight, have no aspirations, take refuge in petty desires or thoughts of revenge and buy minor and useless things.

Performance in Romanian with English surtitles
We welcome the audience to a performance about how work was done and how love was shown within Romania of the 70s. For some, it may be a nostalgic comedy and for others, a fresh show, looking back with humor and detachment. Either way, the actors are impressive and deserve to be seen play for the way they have put up with the challenge.
