October 17–26, 2025 – „I.L. Caragiale” National Theatre Bucharest, Media Hall Foyer
During the National Theatre Festival, Radio Romania – National Radio Theatre steps out of its studios and sets up a dedicated listening space in the Media Hall foyer of the National Theatre Bucharest, presenting its own audio drama productions.
Ten beanbags create a cozy and protected atmosphere for radio theatre listening. The audio plays can be accessed via a QR code on each visitor’s mobile phone, linking directly to the National Radio Theatre playlist.
The program features a curated selection of recent productions by Radio Romania – National Radio Theatre, organized thematically: real worlds, imaginary worlds, and phonograms. The project responds to the growing interest of younger audiences in audio drama/radio theatre and promotes the work of the National Radio Theatre beyond its on-air broadcasts and Radio Romania websites. The 10-day event is designed for the festival goers and guests who can thus enjoy the breaks between performances and other events in the RNTF program.
