A couple face the dilemma of having a child in a world full of ecological uncertainties. The two discuss their desire to become parents, but they are overwhelmed by thoughts about the planet’s future and the impact it might have on a child. Their interactions reveal deep personal fears, anxieties, dilemmas, and contradictions, whereas the tension caused by personal choices and the way in which those choices are influenced by larger societal issues changes shapes as She and He grow older.
