What’s left of reality when you remove logic from the equation?
The Viscount by Eugène Ionesco is a performance that dares you to see absurdity not as an exception, but as a fundamental rule of existence. The characters refuse to conform to any patterns, and the action follows a trajectory that no one—not even they themselves—can predict.
Don’t try to understand—just go with the flow. Don’t search for meaning, because you might discover it was never there to begin with. Instead, you’ll find humor, paradoxes, a world that collapses and resurrects within the same sentence, and perhaps a mirror reflecting your own attempts to find order in chaos.
If you’re looking for a performance that offers answers, we suggest you look elsewhere. But if you’re ready to take a break from the constant urge to make sense of everything, and to explore theatre as a game of the impossible — then we’ll see you at the show.
