Silviu Purcărete in the National Theater Festival!

Although presently in France to attend the premiere of Artaserse, Leonardo da Vinci’s baroque opera that he staged at the Opéra Nationale de Lorraine, the famous stage director will be also present among the audience and the guests of the National Theater Festival due to an extraordinary dialogue with the essayist and professor George Banu about a generous theme: Theater and the sense of community.

Filmed in Nancy only a few days ago by the cameraman Horia Lapteș for the National Theater Festival, this 45-minutes dialogue will be screened for the first time on Thursday 1 November at 18.00 in Bulandra Theater’s Liviu Ciulei Hall, before the documentary The Island. In A Tempest: Silviu Purcărete by Laurențiu Damian, and again on Sunday 4 November in the same hall, after the performance of Waiting for Godot by Samuel Beckett.
