For some years, following the end of the National Theatre Festival ,at the beginning of each November, the Critic’s Café hosts debates on the event and on the Romanian theatre of our times.

For some years, following the end of the National Theatre Festival ,at the beginning of each November, the Critic’s Café hosts debates on the event and on the Romanian theatre of our times.

The tradition is upheld this year as well, at the end of the 24th edition of the NTF (24th of October- 2nd of November 2014), with the participation of the festival’s artistic director, Marina Constantinescu (at the beginning of a new term, following the one in 2005-2007), of Aura Corbeanu (executive director) and other members of the NTF staff, of artists and drama critics.

The Critic’s Café is a cultural debate project on current themes. The first series was held during the 1990’s, in the Café of the Faculty of Letters, at the University of Bucharest. The second one made its debut in November 2008 at the TSC Clubhouse and continued in Club A and Club Control. Beginning with the autumn of 2011, the debated of the Critic’s Café have been taking place at Club A.
