Between the 27th of October and the 1st of November, the NTF organises the “Theatre Journalism / Anatomy of a theatrical performance” Workshop, presented by theatre critic and professor Marian Popescu. The workshop has three themes: For Whom do we write, How and What do we write about?

Available places: 30

The target group is made up of students from the Faculty of Journalism and Communication Sciences (FJSC) and form the University for Theatrical Art and Cinematography (UNATC) who are interested in theatre journalism.

Schedule: 10.00 AM- 13.00 PM

Place: Alt Shift (Str. Constantin Mille, nr. 4) 

The selection will be made based upon a 200-word essay on the subject of: “I would like to learn to write about Theatre because…”. The text will be accompanied by an image in tone with what was written. The text and image must be sent until the 15th of October 2014, at [email protected] (don’t forget to add your contact details)

The result will be communicated to you by the 20th of October on the website of the Faculty of Journalism and Communication Sciences.

 

INFO

The workshop has three components, met daily:

1.Meeting a practitioner (theatre critic, director, actor/actress, playwright, set designer)

2. Show analysis (be it after watching a show at the Festival or a video)

3. Writing a journalistic paper (types of text: news of a theatre event, press release concerning a theatrical event, show chronicle, show analysis)
