Poetic theatre in its purest form, with music following it steps or, even better, tempting the word with the intensity of ever so surprising musical notes. Ion Caramitru and Johnny Răducanu bring on the stage of the National Theatre sensitive fragments, in a romantic and sarcastic key, signed by Nichita Stănescu, Dan Verona, Petre Stoica, Miron Radu Paraschivescu, Lucian Avramescu and Ana Blandiana.

”The title, albeit quite conventional, does not disclose the surprises of this performance, among which the most seductive is the urge of the two to recount their friendship with each other, their friendship with poetry and the bohemian life, whose evoked symbol is the blonde angel called Nichita Stănescu (…). Their dialogue is almost sensual, and it’s enough to notice how Johnny just watches his partner to understand how intimate their spiritual liaisons are, and how well they understand each other (…). And if the words that Caramitru speaks or sings are able to transmit these messages directly, the complicit silences of Johnny and his music surround us mysteriously.” – Doina Papp, Revista 22 – Bucureştiul Cultural: Ion Caramitru şi Johnny Răducanu în dialog cu poezia)
