Topic: „Antigone” by Sofocle, performance directed by Friederike Heller at Schaubühne (Berlin)
Friederike Heller was born in 1974 in Berlin. She studied directing at the Music and Theatre University in Hamburg. In 2005 she was voted “Director of the Year” by Theater heute magazine for the performance “Blues Underground” by Peter Handke, at the Burgtheater in Vienna. She has directed performances at the Thalia Theatre in Hamburg, Wiener Burgtheater, Residenztheater Munich, Künstlertheater Moscow, Schauspiel Cologne and at the Schaubühne Berlin and Staatsschauspiel Dresden.
