„In the Masca Theatre booklets we have gathered together our almost 30 years of experience, as well as contributions and opinions of other theatre people or specialists from the country and abroad. Together with the editor Cristina Modreanu, we structured the information around significant themes related to outdoor theatre, in order to offer the readers informative dossiers around these main themes. We set out to provide an alternative to theoretical theatre education for young people in theatre schools, a working tool to guide them on a territory of the craft generally unjustly omitted from the critical reference students, actors / directors / set designers receive during their formation. But these booklets are equally useful to other theatre people or to theatre goers, who are eager to better understand the Romanian theatrical phenomenon.”
