A performance about and for teenagers, teenagers that are forced to mature brutally, in between children and adults. Right before their final exam, three high school students start to fill a scrapbook, projecting their future, without knowing if it’s through the filter of their own ideals or under the pressure of what the people around them (family, teachers, friends) want for them. Two girls and a boy, caught in a simple occurrence that we watch and rewatch through each of their perspectives.
Is high school the best time of our young life, or is it the cruelest and least stable? The same three people, now adults, meet again ten years after graduation: have they fulfilled their ideals? Are they or are they not happy, the way they wrote into the scrapbook? The pressure, the competition in schools, the memory of a tense moment in the twelfth grade are still following them and, in time, this leaves a mark on the relationships they have with other people. This all is happening as they are waiting for their head teacher, for the final exam, for their real life to begin… (Luana Hagiu)
This performance was presented within the #oradedirigenție project, implemented in a collaboration with the School Inspectorate of the Municipality of Bucharest | The 2022-2023 Season.
