In a time when the urgency to act and react to various local and global systemic fractures and gaps is becoming increasingly acute, in a present where immediate social and economic realities enhance a prolonged risk situation for the most vulnerable of us, how can we build transformative practices through which we can not only point out what does not work well in our proximity, but also why it does not work and how we can make it work?

What is nowadays the role of the artistic practices we are proposing? What tactics are we counting on? What stories are we inventing in order not to give up on what we have planned to do? What meanings can words, reflections, our bodies have in a world in which the pro-militarization speech is prevalent, in which inequalities are increasingly overwhelming, in a world where, whenever we identify an emergency, we risk being told that there is another emergency? How do we define our emergencies from an artistic point of view? Does it even help to define them? What risks are we taking each time we name a reality as being an emergency?
