The French Institute in Romania offers cultural managers and professionals in the field of performing arts an introductory workshop regarding European cooperation projects.

Event presented by: The French Institute in Romania

Hosted by Helena de Winter (in English), this workshop will begin with a presentation of various financing programs in the broader context of global cultural policies, followed by information about European professional networks, the priorities of selection boards and discussions about the stages of building a European project. In the second part of the workshop, participants will have the chance to apply that knowledge in a practical exercise, in teams, by sketching European cooperation projects. The workshop will end with a feedback session.

Helena De Winter supports cultural organisations in their international development strategies and in managing European projects. From the beginning of 2022 she has been working as a freelancer and has supported numerous organisations in the field of music and performing arts. On of the projects she coordinates is Gettinig Unstuck, a project financed by Creative Europe, which aims at researching the integration of migrants through arts. Helena holds workshops about European projects at Master’s programs at Paris-Saclay and Montpellier Universities and is one of the experts of the regional delegation of the French Cultural Ministry (DRAC).
