What does together mean? What are the traces of our emotions? Are we alone or are we linked through a twisted and interconnected network? Are projects and technology separating us from our nature, or do they have the power to make us reconnect with our own selves? Podul/The Bridge is an interactive art installation that questions the limits of our understanding regarding the concept of together. We are more than we can see, we connect more than we think, we communicate more than what our words express. We are water molecules, interacting and interfering, vibrating and resonating, and no virtual meeting could replace real meetings, face to face. By using multimedia technologies, The Bridge invites people to walk towards each other, to rediscover the deep connection of eye contact and to meditate on the way our bodies interact with each other. Passing the bridge becomes an experience that could reveal what is unseen, and the visitor is, at the same time, both observer and participant.
