The creative labs for playwriters – directors are that space of creative exploration less visible to others. How does a writer-director team work? How do you write a collaborative play for stage? How much does the playwriter get involved in the process of constructing the text?
NTF Debates
Each year the National Theatre Festival hosts a series of debates on topics of utmost interest in terms of performative arts in Romania. These debates bring forward a space of analysis and reflection on some important subjects both for the specialists and for the general public interested in theatre. Among the debate topics that will be addressed there are: work ethics in institutions of performative arts, redefining playwriting structures and reconfigurations on the role of playwriters or playwritings in the theatre of today, who and what needs to be documented within the performances.
