Christine de Grancy has travelled half a world in order to take the images that have put her on the map, which led to multiple trips all around the world: in Greece, Russia, Japan, the United States of America, Algeria, Western Sahara, Portugal, China, Tibet, Pakistan, Turkey, Georgia, Niger and Mali. Christine de Grancy is originally a ceramist and graphic artist who completed her studies in Graz. Since 1963, she lives and works in Vienna, where, for many years, she has professed as artistic director in publicity agencies, before offering herself exclusively to photography and, amongst others, theatre photography.
