In the shadow of the great plan is a subjective attempt to re-enact the history of a big scale social experiment whose consequences continue to hunt us: the new man and the national myth of the promised land.

THEATRE and SOCIETY. NOW section
The performance takes the shape of a family chronicle that follows three generations, simultaneously seeking the social, political and moral mutations of the society and their effects on the individuals and their personal life.
We are a generation in search of an identity and, in order to achieve it, we look back to the past as well as to the future, trying to build an attitude towards history. Being influenced by a mystified past and a present at the crossroads, all that is left for us is to question our origins and to project our future, keeping a humorous and cynical approach, just like any transitional generation should do, in a bitter-sweet fairy-tale-like performance.
