Four tramps inhabit a deserted train station. They desperately wish to escape this godforsaken place. Under the despotic directorship of Meto, they endlessly train for getting on the Train. But no trains stop at the deserted station. And so, their lives are wasted in endless rehearsals, drinking and grumbling about the dictatorial Meto. A train stops one day, and throws off another alcoholic, Harry.

During the night, with his position under threat by the newcomer, Meto kills him. The horrified tramps see the victim coming to as if nothing ever happened, he just has a knife stuck in his throat. He pulls the knife out and introduces himself as Harry Houdini, illusionist and showman. For a daily dose of alcohol, he promises to teach the drunks a great magic trick. In this way, they will escape that horrible place. Under the tutelage of the Great Illusionist, they begin their daily lessonss. In the meantime, strange things start happening at the station. Losing power, Meto attempts to reveal the Great Illusionist as a fraud. But, Harry proves the reality of his illusions. One day, their train finally stops…
