„The Trap”, from the Mihai Eminescu National Theatre in Chișinău, at the 32nd NTF
In the context of The Republic of Moldova’s process of joining the EU, UNITER and The Ministry of Culture support Moldavian artists by hosting „The Trap” in the National Theatre Festival of 2022, after „On The Run ” by Mikhail Bulgakov, a production of the Mihai Eminescu National Threatre in Chișinău (sciprt, direction and music by Petru Hadârcă.
Public reading on Romanian texts, at the NTF
This year’s National Theatre Festival includes a short plays competition called “Local Contemporary Playwriting @ NTF 2022”. Of the 45 texts submitted, the jury including Maria Manolescu, Alina Nelega and Peca Ștefan selected 3: Neputință (Helplessness), Bolovan (Boulder) and N-am fost acolo (I haven’t been there).
No Borders – Interdisciplinary Workshop
This year’s National Theatre Festival (5-13 November) will include an interdisciplinary workshop of performing arts coordinated by Radu Apostol – theatre director, and Florin Fieroiu – choreographer.
